Know About That He Is Out There

Do you want a Film on the model of “silence”, but with people who are not silent? In short, a film in which there are a lot of screams. And should there be Co-Stars who are simply broke with an obnoxious ax, as in every episode of “Friday the 13th”? Then “he’s out there” might be something for you. However, if you are someone who is waiting for a little explanation about why someone is terrorizing a family, then I must disappoint you. Why Laura (Yvonne Strahovski) and her two daughters Kayla (Anna Pniowsky) and Maddie (Abigail Pniowsky) were suddenly hit by a stranger remained a question mark at the end.

“He’s over there” is definitely not a bad movie. The increasing tension allows you to sit on the edge of the chair. It’s a bit like “the wolf and the seven young honeysuckles”, only the wolf is a person in disguise, and the 7 honeysuckles are played by two irritating screaming girls. Now, a disguise like the one used by the madman is nothing new in the Slasher genre. Jason Voorhees had a hockey mask on. Michael Myers a scary rubber mask. Leatherface wore a mask made of the flesh of his victims. The author of “he’s over there”seems to be a cousin of “The Collector”in “The Collection”. Almost an identical disguise and the same clothes are used.

I love seeing a typical Slasher full of screaming victims. The least I expect, however, is a surprise ending or a unique carnage as in “You’re next”. But in this Film, the standard list of Slasher films is carefully checked and there are no deviations from the standard formula. And then there is the fact that there are few victims and that nothing (but absolutely nothing) is shared by general information. This makes “He’s out there” a disappointing, simple and third-rate film. Even the ending was so predictable that I had to sigh deeply. And honestly, I also found the resolution a little exaggerated.

Is there anything positive to report? Yes, they exist. Yvonne Strahovski. And not just because she’s pretty. She realistically tries to give shape to a frightened character while protecting her two panicked children. So expect a lot of hide and seek and escape by screaming. A bit silly, though. Because the person who wants to hurt her always knows where she is. “He’s out” is like an Ex-girlfriend. It was fun for a while, but it turns out she wasn’t that special. And before you know it, you’re glad you got rid of it. And in an instant, you’re looking for someone else and you’ve forgotten about them. I hope they are not planning a sequel.
